" Ashington and/or Bedlington Children’s Centre, to be determined, with travel expected to families anywhere within the Central Locality, which includes Ashington, Bedlington Newbiggin, Morpeth and the surrounding area.   Working with Julie Ayre, Action for Children, Early Help Manager and her team of Early Help Workers employed by Action for Children and Northumberland County Council.   We are looking to recruit 2 Early Help Family Workers. One 37 hours full time and one part time, 22.2 hours or 3 days to be agreed. The role is to  support families with children and young people 0-19 within Northumberland's Supporting Families framework. Salary for 37 hours role will be £24313- 26999 Salary for the 22.2 hours role will be £14587 - 16199 Please state which role you wish to apply for in your application.    Ideal candidates are passionate, hard working and dedicated to helping improve the lives of children and their families. This role will be worked agilely and flexibly.  Base for mileage and office facilities is Ashington and/or Bedlington Children’s Centre, to be determined, with travel expected to families anywhere within the Central Locality, which includes Ashington, Bedlington Newbiggin, Morpeth and the surrounding area.  As you would expect, we are looking for self motivated and responsible applicants with good communication skills.  You will enjoy working as part of a team, but also be able to use your own initiative and work independently to manage your commitments.   Competence in delivering training/programmes, completing assessments , working with individual family members and supporting them together; is desirable.
