We are looking to secure a lead pastoral worker to be a key member of staff in our rapidly improving school.
Chester-le-Street CE Primary is committed to supporting all families and pupils to ensure the best educational offer possible. As such, we require someone with resilience, humour and experience to support the teaching staff to ensure pupils are ready to learn.
The right candidate must have experience of working with challenging pupils and have a proven track record for improving pupils’ attitudes to learning. They must also have knowledge of attendance structures in school. Understanding of children’s safeguarding including Early Help assessments and TAFs is also favourable.
The correct person will also have experience of a range of behaviour strategies including de-esaclation and Team Teach.

Visits to the school are welcomed and should be organised though the school office.
Visits will take place on Thursday 12th March at 1pm and 3.30pm
