Newcastle is a dynamic and growing core city.

We are looking for an experienced School Funding Specialist.

You will be expected to lead on projects relating to School financial sustainability, the administration of grant funding and service review and improvement.

This is a varied role working with schools and trusts across Newcastle as well as officers within Education and Skills and other parts of the Council.

You will have strong financial skills, experience of multi-year financial forecasting, assessing financial sustainability, collating, analysing and presenting complex financial information.

Equally important, however, will be the ability to engage and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders. This is an important role which will require you to provide information and advice to school leaders and governors and senior officers of the Council
