We have a passionate workforce who are committed to supporting children and young people to feel safe, healthy, happy and ready to learn and achieve. We respect everyone as equally valued members of our community by listening to their views and using their opinions to help shape our services.

We are a caring and supportive team; loyal and tenacious, with integrity at the heart of everything we do.

Are you the right person to help us to develop a brighter future for our children .
If you share the ethos of Redcar and Cleveland’s Children and Families Directorate, this could be the opportunity you are looking for.

Do you have time to give during school holidays? We are looking to recruit a Children with Disabilities Youth Leader for 19.5 hours per week during school holidays (i.e. 12 weeks per year). You will manage a team of CWD Youth Support Workers in the delivery of interactive, fun, activity based holiday provisions to children and young people with non-complex additional needs. The holiday sessions will involve daytime work and occasional weekend sessions. Sessions will run 3 times a week in various locations across the Borough.
