We are looking to recruit a number of Level 2 & Level 3 Children with Disabilities Youth Support Workers to lead and support in the delivery of activity based sessions to children and young people with complex and non-complex additional needs in both our After School and Holiday Provisions.
After School Provision - will be delivered term time only 3 times per week late afternoon / evening for 3.5 hours each at various locations across Redcar and Cleveland for children and young people with complex needs.
Holiday Provision - will involve daytime work and occasional weekend work for 4-5 hourly sessions during school holidays for children and young people with complex and non-complex additional needs. Sessions will run 3 times per week.
Starting salary is between £10.34-£14.93 per hour (NJC D / D+) dependant on qualification and experience. Experience of working and engaging with children and young people with disabilities in an informal setting is essential.
Applicants will need to be enthusiastic, creative and have a flexible approach to responding to the needs of the service and able to demonstrate a real commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people with disabilities.
