North Park Primary School is a successful and friendly school. We are seeking a temporary teacher to join our team to teach in a mixed Reception/Year 1 class (maternity cover) from September 2020 until 26th March 2021 (or until the day before the return of the substantive post holder).

The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of teaching in Reception and/or Year 1
• Demonstrate excellent classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning to motivate, value and nurture all children.
• Have very high expectations of all children, and be focused on standards and progress
• Have excellent behaviour and pastoral management skills
• Have a good understanding of the teaching of early phonics.
• Have a good understanding of the development needs of a range of pupils
• Be able to work well as part of a team and be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
