Marine Park is a purpose built, PFI School on an extensive and attractive coastal site in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. The school is the largest First School in North Tyneside, currently attracting and serving 520 pupils from a wide catchment.
The Governors of this successful, large, friendly and happy First School invite applications for the post of teacher. We are seeking to appoint teaching staff to work as part of our team, contribute to the outstanding education, safety, welfare, wellbeing, happiness and behaviour that we strive to achieve for the pupils at school.
One of the posts is permanent and one is temporary (fixed term for 1 year in the first instance). The successful applicant will, most likely, be required to teach in Lower Key Stage 2. Both are full time.
The successful applicant will have:
• Exemplary classroom practitioner skills- evidence of outstanding teaching/placements or the potential to be outstanding
• High expectations of pupils and be fully committed to raising standards for all pupils, whatever their needs
• Commitment to promoting excellence and enjoyment within the school community
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire
• The ability to contribute to developing the intent, implementation and demonstrating impact in an area of the curriculum

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and will need to have two fully supportive references from current employers/placements.
