Northumberland County Council Planning Service is looking to recruit a Minerals & Waste Compliance Officer who is committed to delivering an efficient, effective and customer focused service.

The role
If you have a working knowledge of planning enforcement and an interest in minerals & waste along with a positive attitude then we would like to hear from you. You should be enthusiastic and highly motivated and able to manage your own workload.

You must must be able to work effectively in partnership with planning colleagues, site operators, elected members and other stakeholders in order to deliver an effective service.

The role requires knowledge of the planning system and planning enforcement, excellent communication skills, both oral and written and good analytical and negotiation skills.
