Due to a dramatic increase in student numbers and increased popularity of Design Technology at Key Stage 4 and 5 we are really keen to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dynamic teacher of Design Technology within a thriving department.

The Design Technology department is thriving and has a reputation for excellent teaching and learning. All students study Design Technology at Key Stage 3 with many students choosing to study GCSE Design Technology (Eduqas) at Key Stage 4. The department achieves outstanding results with one of the highest value added scores in the school; many students return to study the subject Post 16 to build on their success from GCSE. This post offers a superb opportunity for an energetic teacher with excellent skills to develop further within a positive and supportive environment. It is suitable for an experienced teacher or someone at the start of their career.

All staff that join the school benefit from a carefully structured programme of training and support and are provided with a school iPad.
We are really keen to appoint the right person to our school and are determined to make this appointment despite the current unprecedented situation due to the coronavirus. The interviews for this post will be carried out via videolink in order to maintain the current recommendations in relation to social distancing.
