We are looking for someone to join our team to help us promote how great the county is and the services we offer to residents, visitors, investors and partners.
As a key part of our Communications and Marketing team you will be responsible for developing and driving our social media and web strategy, as well as building on, and protecting our, reputation, you will work closely with colleagues across the team and the council. You will lead and inspire a small digital team and help to develop the council’s digital media knowledge and expertise.
You will be enthusiastic and passionate about digital communications, be an innovator, self-starter and team player. You will have excellent communications skills, including developing, copy writing, be able to film and edit, have experience in SEO and analytics. Ideally you will have experience of working in a news environment and producing content which will help us stand out from the crowd and help reach our audiences.
You will have a keen eye for detail, have excellent influencing skills and strong organisational and time management skills.
You will possess a degree in a related subject and ideally a professional qualification or membership in communications or marketing.
