The successful applicant will part of a small team providing specialist outreach support to parents/ carers and practitioners. The work will mainly focus on young children with complex learning needs, particularly social communication difficulties and children on the Autism Spectrum.

The support will include providing advice on strategies and resources to meet individual needs at home and/or school/care setting. An ability to develop positive working relationships with parents and a wide range of professionals is vital for the role. Equally important is an ability to model good practice and contribute to other forms of professional development such as training workshops.

This is a 16 hour, term time only post within the highly regarded Small Steps Team.
