The governing body of SELEfirst School is seeking to appoint a Head Teacher to lead our school to even greater success.
SELEfirst School has been rated as Outstanding three times, under the expert leadership of our current, retiring Head. We are now looking for a new head teacher who has the passion and vision to drive our school onwards so we can provide even better educational and social outcomes for all our pupils.
The successful candidate should have a proven record in school senior leadership. As our head teacher, you must be able to engage and enthuse all staff, governors, pupils and parents to deliver outstanding results for all our children, irrespective of ability.

Coming to interview you will need to complete a self-disclosure form detailing any convictions, spent or otherwise, in addition to any warnings or investigations into your conduct. Any information received will be dealt with in the strictest confidence and any assessment made will be on an individual basis. In addition thorough identity checks will be carried out including checks of all qualifications and information declared in your letter of application and on your application form. If you are successful at interview, you will be required to obtain an ‘Enhanced Disclosure’ from the Disclosure Barring Service before we can proceed with the appointment. A check will also be made on the Teaching Regulation Agency prohibited from teaching list.
