Based in our library, you will not only perform the duties of a librarian, but you will also run a nuture group for pupils returning from long absences from school and an after school hub. You will constantly be interacting with our pupils and you will support and assist them with work, set by their teachers.
Your role will require you to be available to pupils who need encouragement and support, but you must also encourage them to work independently when they can and to return to their lessons when they are able.
A caring but firm approach is required in this role. You will be part of a team who strive to ensure that our pupils are the best they can be and that all barriers to learning are addressed.
