Social Worker
37 Hour post on the Looked After and Permanence Team
The overall aim of the Looked after and Permanence Service is to ensure that all children who are looked after with either Care plans of permanence through adoption, long term foster carer or long term residential care receive a timely, high quality and consistent service. To ensure that we improve outcomes and actively promote the Life chances for all Looked After children.
You will ideally have experience of working with Looked After Children.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality social work and support services in line with statute, regulation, national standards, policy and procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
A social work qualification, experience of working with people in a social care setting, including looked after children are essential. You will receive quality supervision and a commitment to your on going continuing professional development. Registration with Social Work England is essential.
