We have an exciting opportunity for a GIS Officer within our ICT Service.

This is a key post within the ICT Service and you'll play a central part in the delivery of a successful ICT and mapping Service to the Authority. On a day-to-day basis, you'll manage, support and develop the Councils ESRI ArcGIS product suite and ldox Uniform Spatial database system to all users. This will include planning and executing installations and upgrades; managing GIS and spatial agreements or contracts; developing your skills; providing IT consultancy advice; and responding to Incidents and Requests received in the team.

To be considered, you'll need a proven background in GIS Support and experience of liaising with users to promote and deliver high quality GIS input into their projects. Previous exposure to the public sector would also be an advantage.
