The Role:
We are currently looking to appoint two experienced Lead Finance Business Partners. We have one temporary vacancy for a twelve-month period to support our Customer Services department who provide key frontline housing services, and a permanent vacancy to support our Construction Services department who provide a range of services from day to day repairs to multi-million pound new build and refurbishment projects.

These key roles within our Business Partnership team will make a real difference to YHN, playing a pivotal role in bringing our ambitious plans to fruition. Joining a well-established team of business partners providing financial, performance risk insight to operational services we are looking for someone with a focus on business partnership working, taking an account management approach with each of our three directorates.

Working at a strategic level with senior managers you will be responsible for providing financial modelling, management accounting, long term planning, tender activity and other financial support, whilst leading and motivating a team to achieve targets and objectives.

We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivering high quality services within a back-office support role. A key element of this role is the ability to build collaborative working relationships with senior managers across a diverse range of services. You must have demonstrable experience of working successfully in the finance, performance and risk environment providing insight and guidance to key frontline services.

The Person:
• You will have first class communications skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information to none financial audiences.
• You will have strong leadership, stakeholder management and engagement skills.
• Be confident in managing and manipulating financial, performance and risk data through a variety of software including excel, power BI and oracle-based systems.
• Have a tracked record of providing insight to internal and external stakeholders.
• Be an engaging leader, embedding YHN’s values and behaviours across the team you will manage
• Have previous experience in the construction industry (permanent role only).
