An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Childcare (Early Years) to join our ambitious team at Sunderland College as maternity cover from September 2020 until August 2021. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Childcare lecturer who can use this energy to inspire learners to have lifelong careers in this key sector.
We are particularly interested in innovative and creative practitioners who have experience at teaching levels 2 and 3 to 16-19 year olds and have an in-depth understanding of the early years sector through either previous employment or regular professional industry updating. You will be a key member of a collaborative team that focusses on providing excellent learner experiences through the quality of our teaching, learning and assessment.
Applicants should have an appropriate degree or equivalent and teaching qualification, together with experience of internal quality assurance processes. Within the personal statement, practical examples of how you fulfil the person specification and examples of your teaching practice should be included.
