We are looking for an experienced Social Work Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.

The role in Darlington covers both that of a Child Protection Chair and Independent Reviewing Officer. It is critical to effective planning for children, ensuring timely interventions and that plans are made a reality. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed professional who want to make a difference and meet the challenge.

Your primary responsibilities will include the Care Planning and review process in line with the IRO handbook, and the chairing of: Adoption Reviews, Child Protection Conferences, Secure Reviews and Disruption Meetings.
