We are seeking to appoint an experienced Programme Manager to play a central role in the development, leadership and delivery of our Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategic Partnership in North Tyneside. This work is a key part of Barnardo's Mental Health and Wellbeing Core Priority Programme established to help achieve our 10 Year Corporate Strategy.
You will support the Assistant Director Impact Mental Health and Wellbeing in leading the development and delivery of the North Tyneside Strategic Partnership, one of three Strategic Partnerships established across the UK which are focusing on facilitating systems change in the area of children and young people's mental health and wellbeing. You will work in partnership with key stakeholders including North Tyneside Council, Public Health, Education and the Voluntary and Community Sector. You will also work closely with our evaluation and learning partners Mental Health Foundation.
As the Programme Manager you will be dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic and approachable as well as being non-judgmental, empathetic and warm. You will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of all day to day aspects of the Partnership such as human resources, resource management, financial accountability, monitoring and evaluation.
You will be a member of Barnardo's MHWB Core Priority Team and as such will have the opportunity to represent Barnardo's regionally and nationally.
Travel will be required, including overnight.
The post may be home based. Although there will be opportunities to work within North Tyneside Council offices.
