An exciting opportunity has arisen in Environment, Housing and Leisure Service as we look to expand our very successful Adaptations team. We are creating an additional multi-skilled team to deliver a range of Adaptation work across the Borough. We are looking for;

• Plumber x 1

This important customer facing position will help support the delivery of a wide range of adaptations work for customers with disabilities.

The successful applicants will be motivated, take pride in their work, preferably be multi-skilled and will ideally possess a good understanding of working in a local authority.

If successful, you will be joining a committed team of skilled trades personnel who carry out life changing adaptations in people’s homes to the highest standard.

In order to do this role, you will be required to attend homes anywhere in the borough, produce work to a high quality and you will need excellent customer care skills.

You must be able to read drawings and identify all necessary materials to carry out the work.

You will have access to a van as required to carry out the role therefore a full driving licence is required

Previous experience in similar post in the social housing sector or equivalent is desirable.
