Aycliffe Secure Centre cares for young people who are sentenced, remanded or accommodated under a secure accommodation order as directed by the courts. The Role:

As a Home’s Manager you will take lead responsibility for one of the secure children’s homes, duties include: overseeing case management, working to the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, meeting performance and contractual obligations, management of staff including supervision training and mentoring. The successful candidate will also be part of a 24/7 duty management rota working across the secure centre.

Useful information:

You will work an average of 37 hours per week, with some normal office hours/working from home alongside a designated shift pattern between 7.00am – 10pm to cover the duty manager role within the centre. There is also a requirement work some bank holidays, and on a weekend to also cover the duty management role every 5 weeks.
