We are looking for 2 hard-working, motivated and enthusiastic candidates to join the Building Services team as an Apprentice Electrician. In this role you will be responsible for providing a full range of electrical duties working on various domestic and commercial properties in a fast moving and dynamic environment. You will be friendly, professional and demonstrate excellent customer service skills at all times.
Examples of work to be undertaken include
•Undertake electrical duties as required including test and inspection, reactive maintenance, rewiring and installations.
•Complete works in accordance with specifications and in compliance with the relevant legislation and industry best practice.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will undertake the Level 3 Installation/Maintenance Electrician apprenticeship and you will be required to attend Sunderland College 1 day per week. You will be supported through the apprenticeship by a College assessor and you will also receive regular mentoring in the workplace from your supervisor and team.
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they have an interest in electrical maintenance and prior knowledge/experience would be preferable. Ideally candidates will have or expect to achieve 3 GCSEs at grade 4 (grade C) or above in Maths and English. Candidates with equivalent qualifications or who have the ability to achieve a Level 2 in Maths/English alongside the apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply.
