Environment, Housing and Leisure Service wishes to appoint highly motivated individuals to our Housing Property and Construction Team.
We are recruiting an additional 2 Joiners that will be required to deliver an excellent service to our customers by helping and supporting the delivery of a wide range of repairs work for the tenants of North Tyneside.
These customer facing roles need you to be motivated, take pride in your work, possess an element of multi-skilling and will ideally possess a good understanding of working in a local authority or social housing.
If successful, you will be joining a committed team of skilled trades personnel who carry out responsive repairs.
In order to do this role, you will be required to attend homes anywhere in the borough, produce work to a high quality and you will need excellent customer care skills.
You must be able to read drawings and identify all necessary materials to carry out the work.
You will have access to a van as required to carry out the role.
Previous experience in housing maintenance is desirable.
