An exciting opportunity has arisen in Environment, Housing and Leisure Service as we look to expand our very successful Empty Homes team.
We are looking for 2 painters to join our team.
The successful applicants will be motivated, take pride in their work, preferably be multi-skilled and will ideally possess a good understanding of working in a local authority.
If successful, you will be joining a committed team of skilled trades personnel who carry out works within empty properties.
In order to do this role, you will be required to attend homes anywhere in the borough, produce work to a high quality and you will need excellent customer care skills.
You will have access to a van as required to carry out the role therefore a full driving licence is required
Previous experience in similar post in the social housing sector or equivalent is desirable.
