As part of Education Partnership North East (EPNE), Northumberland College is undergoing significant investment to provide an excellent learning environment for students and apprentices.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Instructor who can demonstrate outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices across all levels in Construction to ensure positive outcomes for students. You will plan, promote, deliver, monitor and evaluate your teaching and the progress of learners.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, committed and passionate individual with a strong Construction background and knowledge. They will lead and teach the practical elements of Construction over a range of courses including brickwork, plastering and joinery as well as support in the delivery of some theory. They will plan, deliver and evaluate sessions and monitor the progress of their learners. They will assist in creating and cultivating strong links with parents, carers and the Construction Industries.

A flexible, proactive approach is required as this role includes responsibility regarding the successful delivery of teaching, learning and assessment across the trades.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
