'Staff morale is strong. Staff are unified and motivated'
'Staff say the headteacher and other leaders are 'genuine' in their attempts to lessen
workload and improve well-being' Ofsted January 2020

Northfield School is a large 11-16 school and specialist sports college. We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state of the art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building and a separate new Year 7 school.

Following an inspection in January 2020, Ofsted judged that the school continues to be good and acknowledged all the positive work being undertaken to improve it further. This is a great time to join the school.

Northfield Sportsdrome is a busy and vibrant school and community sports facility and we are looking to increase our bank of casual employees to cover a range of duties and responsibilities. You will act as first point of contact working in a busy reception area and will interact with a diverse range of customers including students, school staff, and members of the public using the sports facilities on offer.

Excellent team working, organisational, and communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, alongside the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines whilst prioritising workload efficiently and effectively using your own initiative. You will also be a confident IT user with an excellent level of proficiency and experience in a range of IT systems and be able to demonstrate an aptitude for excel reports and other electronic systems.

You will be friendly, approachable, enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated in order to meet the varying demands of a school and community use facility. You will have at least 1 years' experience of having previously worked within a busy customer focused environment acting as first point of contact and meeting customer needs.

For detailed information on this role, please refer to the Job Description and Person Specification.

An official application form and further details are available on our web page www.northfieldssc.org and should be returned to HR@northfieldssc.org by 12 noon on the closing date.

Alternatively, applications are also accepted by post (FAO Catherine Frost). NB: we do not accept CV's.

Visits to the school are welcome by appointment; please call Catherine Frost or email using the details above.
