The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Welfare Lead for South Hylton Primary Academy with effect from 2nd November 2020
Trustees invite suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our Academy. The Student Welfare Lead will work with the Senior Leadership Team to support a culture of high expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils and their families to improve attendance, manage safeguarding alongside the SLT and work with pupils to improve well-being by removing barriers to learning.
South Hylton Primary Academy is a smaller than average school within the heart of its community. We celebrate individuality by placing learning, enjoyment and well-being at the heart of all we do. South Hylton Primary Academy seeks to provide all its pupils with the attributes, knowledge and skills they need to lead successful and fulfilling lives.
The successful candidate will join a successful MAT where all Academies support each other to the benefit of our pupils and their families. Our Academies also enjoy strong support from an experienced LST central team, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
