Here at Boldon School we are proud to host South Tyneside School Sport Network (STSSN) and are seeking to appoint a School Games Organiser / School Sport Development Officer to join the team. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, committed and passionate individual who shares in our vision to provide meaningful PE, School Sport and Physical Activity opportunities for ALL young people within South Tyneside. This dual role encompasses the School Games Organiser position (3days/week) specifically focusing on the outcomes of the national School Games programme as well as a School Sport Development Officer position (2 days/week) to work alongside the School Sport Manager to drive and grow the wider programmes delivered through the overarching STSSN.

This fixed term position is funded until 31 March 2021.

You will:

• Have a proven track record in the sports industry.
• Have a passion for sport and its associated benefits.
• Understand and be able to implement current national and local policies linked to PE and School Sport.
• Possess superb time management and inter-personal skills.
