The Federation of Darlington Nursery Schools are looking to recruit a friendly and approachable After School Club Childcare Assistant to work in George Dent Nursery School. This is a casual contract therefore work is on an as and when required basis, during school term - time.
Under the direct instruction of the Club Supervisor, you will work to ensure that the children attending the Nursery's After School Club have a safe and rewarding experience. Your role will be based in the 2 year old room.
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Ensure the programme of activities is interesting to the children using the facilities by providing a variety of educational and recreational activities.
- Check play equipment regularly to ensure the safety and well being of club users.
- Assist in preparing healthy snacks and meals where appropriate.
