An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resource and Value for Money Manager to join the Integration and Transformation Team in Adult Care. We are looking for an experienced and driven professional who will be responsible for a small team to drive value for money thinking across the department and lead on transformation projects. We are continually reviewing services and developing innovative ways to ensure all adults with care and support needs receive top quality services.

You will enjoy excellent working relationships both within the Council and with our partners, liaising extensively with and advising as required Assistant Directors, Service Managers, Council officers at all levels, and senior people from a wide range of external organisations.

The successful candidate will have previous management experience, good financial and analytical skills and substantial project management experience. You will be an inspiring manager, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong performance management ability is vital, along with an ability to deliver tangible results.
