Our governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join the very successful team. This appointment is to begin as soon as possible to support throughout school.

You will be required to work in such a way that you promote the Catholic ethos and vision of the school, attend to the personal needs of pupils, supervise and support children in their access of learning, establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model, actively promote inclusive practice within the classroom, prepare the classrooms support the teacher in the management of pupil behaviour, participate in training and development and activities that contribute to the management of performance , assist with the management of pupils outside the classroom e.g. lunch times.

The successful candidate must have:

- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience of working with or caring for children of primary age
- Appropriate first aid knowledge
- Basic ICT skills
- Basic office skills, photocopying, filing
- Ability to relate well to both children and adults
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- The ability to be alert to monitor pupil activity, learning and health and safety risks.

The working hours will be within the school day Mon- Fri 8.30am – 3.30pm
