We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated individual to join the Fleet Services Team.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible to undertake inspections, repairs and maintenance on all Council vehicles and specialist equipment to Ministry of Transport standards.

You should have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in motor vehicle craft studies or be able to demonstrate the relevant knowledge and experience.
A current Large Goods Vehicle class ‘C’ licence and MOT nominated tester class 4 & 7 would be an advantage, but not essential.
You should be able to work as an individual with minimal supervision as well as part of a team. You are also required to demonstrate a flexible and organised approach to work and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
There is a requirement to work a rotating shift pattern, and cover out of hours call out.
