Nexus is looking for someone to join us in this role to undertake Works activities including the preparation, installation and testing of Engineering work in relation to Nexus Capital Delivery activities.
The Works Supervisor (OLE) will ensure Overhead Line Equipment is manufactured and installed to design. They will also be required to ensure that on site activities are undertaken in accordance with all necessary safety, environmental, quality and engineering standards.
You will have experience in Overhead Line Construction, have or be working towards an appropriate engineering qualification, and served a recognised apprenticeship.
You will have knowledge of the rail industry environment and who has excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation. A full current Driving Licence is necessary, and an HGV licence would be an advantage.
It is desirable that you have Senior Authorisation Level Switching for Overhead Line Supplies.
