We are looking to recruit a Best Interest Assessor to our Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards team as a primary BIA, this is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, enthusiastic, supportive and fast paced environment which is positively responding to the demands and requirements of current legislation and developments ahead of the introduction of Liberty Protection Safeguards legislation to work .
The post holder will work within the required statutory frameworks and caselaw, and will ensure that all assessments and authorisations are completed in a timely manner, following the correct processes and work with individuals, carers and many professionals to preserve the rights of vulnerable adults. The post holder will have a sound working knowledge and understanding of the Human Rights legislation and MCA & DoLS and how these are applied in practice.
