Further Information
A highly skilled, thoughtful and enthusiastic teacher of the visually impaired is required to join our highly successful, well established, hard working and experienced peripatetic team supporting children with vision impairment in schools and settings across North Tyneside. The successful candidate would work across a range of age groups and educational settings. Candidates must be able to work as part of a well informed team.

The post is permanent, 0.4 FTE (2 working days per week). Please note that this post is only open to qualified teachers of visual impairment who hold the mandatory qualification.

Candidates must be committed to continuing professional development.

The successful candidate will be provided with a full induction and professional development programme. The service is committed to safeguarding all pupils. The successful candidate will need to carry out the Service’s Code of Conduct and have DBS clearance.
