Permanent / Term-time only / 7.5 hours per week / 11.30 am – 13.00 pm
Responsible to: Head Teacher and Senior Management Team.

You will be expected to:
• Maintain order during the lunchtime period including cleaning any spillages.
• Teach children table manners.
• Supervise pupil playtimes, both in the playground and in classrooms during wet weather.
• Promote children’s play by organising and play games with them.
• Attend minor injuries.
• Keep appropriate records.
• Work as part of a small team, attending regular meetings and training.

We are looking for a calm, dedicated and cheerful person to join our team of supervisory assistants, whose principle aim is to provide a safe and happy environment to promote the care and welbeing of pupils within our school. The applicant should follow the school’s policies including those on behaviour management and child protection guidance and procedures. The school operates a strict no smoking policy.

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
