Cleaners - 4 Posts
Band 1: £17,842 per annum pro rata (equivalent of £9.25 per hour)

We are looking for additional Cleaners to help keep our schools clean and maintain high standards of cleanliness. We have 4 posts available across the schools, which would suit a variety of people:-

Seaton Sluice Middle School - Permanent post working 12 hours per week, term time plus 12 days. 3.30pm to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 3.30pm to 5.30pm on a Friday.

Astley Community High School - Fixed term to 26 March 2021. 11.25 hours per week, term time plus 12 days. Morning (6.30am to 8.45am) or Afternoon shift (3.15pm to 5.30pm)

Astley Community High School & Whytrig Middle School - Fixed Term to 26 March 2021. Day time cleaning from 10am to 2pm. 20 hours per week, term time only.

Casual Cleaner across Seaton Valley Federation - you could be deployed to work in Astley Community High School, Whytrig Middle School or Seaton Sluice Middle School across a variety of Shifts.

Able to work independently or as part of a team, you will be responsible for cleaning designated areas such as classrooms, specialist areas, corridors and toilets but will also work flexibly as directed to ensure all areas of the site are well-maintained. Main duties will include carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning and polishing.

Previous experience of cleaning in a commercial setting will be an advantage as you will be required to operate a range of cleaning equipment and work to the school’s health and safety protocols. Excellent attendance, reliability and punctuality are important to us and the ideal candidate will also have some flexibility with their working hours.
