We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the College, working closely with Student Progress and Development, Careers and teaching staff providing to support the development of students with the aim of raising aspirations for university and employment.

The successful candidate will organise and support the delivery of a range of effective and engaging activities and programmes for current and prospective students to motivate and raise ambitions as well as support students to ensure they achieve their aspirations and realise their potential.

As well as relevant experience of providing advice and guidance to students making decisions about higher education and their progression pathways, we are looking for an individual with the desire to push for continuous improvement, solving problems and inspiring those around them. You will need to be flexible in your approach and willing to maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments within the educational sector and/or industries pertinent to the College’s curriculum, students and locality. A sound knowledge of UCAS and university admission requirements and processes is also required.

Applicants must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and build links with a range of universities, schools and other organisations.

For this post, applicants should be able to demonstrate in their personal statement practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
