We are looking to appoint an individual with a wide range of expertise who, as part of a professional team, will make a significant contribution to raising standards of pupils' reading progress and overall achievement.
The successful candidate for this exciting new position will be based in our Learning Resource Centre and manage its day-to-day use. S/he will be also be responsible for the successful implementation and running of the accelerated reading programme, along with other reading interventions, according to need.
Under the line management of the Deputy Head (Quality of Education) the successful candidate will work collaboratively with a range of staff, including the Curriculum Leaders for English and the SENCO, to plan and deliver effective interventions and to effectively promote a vibrant reading culture across the school.
