An exciting opportunity for a RICS qualified property professional to work in the Property Division of the Council to undertake a wide range of duties required to support internal and external clients to achieve our ambitions for the authority.

The Council is currently undertaking a major review of its land and property assets with the aim of driving efficiencies and maximising income from its portfolio in addition to identifying investment and development opportunities. The Council’s property assets are a key driver to assist growth in the city and support the Council’s ambitious objectives.

Applicants will be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

Candidates will be required to provide a high standard of technical property advice with a good level of knowledge in landlord and tenant and property acquisition and disposal. The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills, along with a willingness to embrace new challenges and learn new skills. Candidates will be enthusiastic and will have the opportunity to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.

The post is ideally suited to candidates able to exercise their own initiative in undertaking a diverse range of property and project-based work.
