We are seeking to recruit Care Support Workers to the Short Term Support Service in South East area of Northumberland. The main aim of the service is to provide timely care interventions to adults living in their own homes. The Client groups include people who require rehabilitative care following hospital admissions as a result of i.e. a stroke, fall, fracture, surgery or a short term illness and to people who require crisis care to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. Close team working with colleagues and excellent communication is integral to the success of the service delivery.



The service operates on an early and late shift basis between the parameters of 7:00 am & 10:00 p.m. 365 days per year.



This post is for 15 hours per wek



The starting salary is £8145



The successful applicants will have a minimum qualification of NVQ level 2, or be committed to achieve The Care Certificate Award, and also possess the ability to undertake further identified specialist training to meet the requirements of the post.



It is also essential that the successful candidate can fully meet the transport requirements of the post, for which expenses will be paid in accordance with the organisations Single Status agreement rates.
