We have an exciting opportunity for 4 enthusiastic individuals who have a passion to develop a career in Customer Service Support at Sunderland City Council.

In this role, you will be provided with full training to enable you to deliver an efficient, effective and responsive enquiry service to customers. You will be working in a busy but friendly and supportive environment.

As a customer service apprentice, you will undertake the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship and will receive regular support from your assigned assessor. You will also be fully supported through the apprenticeship in the workplace by receiving regular mentoring/guidance from your supervisor and team.

You do not need to have prior experience in customer services to apply for this apprenticeship but we are keen to receive applications from candidates who wish to pursue a career in customer services. In order to apply for this post you will need to have a good general education to GCSE level or equivalent including English and Maths. As part of the apprenticeship you will be required to achieve a minimum of level 1 in English and Maths if you do not already have this qualification.
