The service is hosted by North Tyneside in partnership with Newcastle, Northumberland, Gateshead and South Tyneside. This is an opportunity to join our team as we work towards our vision of being an excellent regional adoption agency.

Are you a Social Worker excited at the prospect of joining and being part of the development of a child centred adoption agency with the passion and experience to help prospective adopters and families who have adopted?

You will need social work skills in assessment and delivery of adoption support within the Adoption Team, experience of working with adopters in preparing them to meet the needs of children with a plan for adoption, a good understanding of attachment and working in partnership.

Adopt North East is ambitious to provide the best quality adoption service possible and we require ambitious Social Workers to complete our Adoption team.

You will be appointed to LG Grade 8 or 9 depending on your qualifications and experience.
LG Grade 8 - £27,741 - £31,346 pa
LG Grade 9 - £32,234 - £35,745 pa
