About the Role
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new apprentice opportunity within the Early Help Service.

You will gain valuable work experience supporting the business support team both in various youth and community centres across the borough, as well as in the Family Hubs team; spending roughly half of your time in each service area over the course of your apprenticeship to see the range of support and services available for 0-5 year olds and those aged 13-19 years old.

The role is varied and will include providing administrative support such as minute taking, filing and sending letters, using case management systems and support with setting up youth clubs or family hub activity sessions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.

Apprenticeship Qualification
During your apprenticeship you will be working towards the nationally recognised Business Administrator, level 3 qualification at Redcar Adult Learning, based in Redcar College.

Essential Requirements
Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit.

You will need to have a minimum of:
Grade 4 (equivalent to Grade C or above) at GCSE English and Maths or functional skills level 2 qualification in English and Maths.

You will need to be committed/willing to work towards the level 3 qualification. Applicants who have already achieve business administration level 3 or higher will not be eligible to apply.

This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months. National Minimum Wage for your age will apply after the first year.
