We wish to recruit a flexible, highly skilled lawyer to lead our Commercial & Development Legal Team based within our Lexcel accredited Legal Services Team. It is essential that you have experience of and a genuine enthusiasm for commercial matters, in particular strategic procurement and/or property law and an excellent approach to public service and client care. Candidates from both the public and private sector are encouraged to apply

You will be responsible for leading and supervising your team, advising upon and supporting others in relation to commercial and development matters including:

- major and strategic projects, procurements and developments,
- management, enforcement, renegotiation, extension or termination of contracts.
- complex or large-scale property, regeneration and development related transactions, including planning.

As part of a busy legal team you may be required to undertake work in other areas covered by the team and therefore a degree of flexibility is valued.
