Fixed Term Contract for 24 Months

You will effectively contribute towards delivering the work of the LGA Coastal SIG by liaising with key members, officers and partners. You will ensure the delivery of specific projects linked to the relevant working groups such as Coastal Adaptation, Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management, Beach Safety, Coastal Communities and Bathing Waters.

You will have experience of working in a local government setting and have a comprehensive understanding of a political environment. You will take ownership of the organisation and delivery of external meetings, conferences and events. You will also manage invoices and interface with the Finance Team to fulfil the Treasury role.

You will contribute towards the effective management of the LGA Coastal SIG, championing coastal issues to influence national policy.
