Saltburn Primary School

To start January 2021

Are you ready for a new challenge and are eager to join our already successful pastoral team?

We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced and motivated HLTA who will provide PPA cover and work alongside the SENDCo/AHT and LSA team to develop our pastoral, wellbeing and behavioural provision in school. The successful candidate will be proficient and experienced in teaching whole classes for PPA cover and have the necessary skills to work alongside the SENDCo/AHT and existing LSA team to provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes. You will also utilise your specialist SEND knowledge and skills to coach, mentor and support colleagues and contribute to the overall provision of SEND alongside the SENDCo/AHT.

Saltburn Primary is a large school that is jointly situated on the site with Huntcliff Secondary School on a joint learning campus. Our most recent Ofsted inspection May 2018 identified our school as ‘good’. We pride ourselves on working together with other local schools to raise the achievement and attainment of all of our children.
