We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team.
The successful candidate would be expected to have the knowledge and skills to support pupils with a variety of specific SEN needs (academic, physical and behavioural) and to be willing to have full involvement with the wider aspects of school life and the local community. It is essential that the person appointed possesses excellent English and Maths skills, can be flexible and is able to work as part of a team and across all year groups. You must be familiar with the guidance in the SEND Code of Practice and have the expertise to support/mentor pupils with SEMH.
Saltburn Primary is a large primary school that share the site with Huntcliff Secondary School on a joint learning campus. We are seeking to recruit an LSA to join our very successful pastoral/ behavioural team. Our most recent Ofsted inspection in May 2018 identified our school as ‘good’. We pride ourselves on working together with other local schools to raise the achievement and attainment of all of our learners.
