This is an exciting opportunity for you to play your part in shaping the future of the North of Tyne economy. The North of Tyne Combined Authority is a ground-breaking organisation, with the transfer of unprecedented new powers from Government to the North of Tyne. We will make an ambitious contribution to the lives of local people, with a clear priority to help the communities we serve to fulfil their true potential – in all aspects of life.

The North of Tyne Combined Authority will be managing and allocating an Investment Fund of £600 million for the next 30 years, in a range of economic development projects. In addition, we have recently agreed with Government a further £24m over the next 5 years to deliver the Brownfield Housing Fund.

We are looking for an outstanding individual to shape our approach to engagement with businesses and manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects, in particular the delivery of the NTCAs Good Work Pledge and other projects and programmes that impact and benefit businesses and other external organisations across the NTCA area.

The role is suitable for a pro-active self-starter with a background in economic development, marketing, business support or account management. The postholder should also have excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

If you are interested in this opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

At North of Tyne Combined Authority, we don’t just accept difference, we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our team, our mission, and our residents. We are proud to embrace diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.
