We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and dynamic Equine Groom Technician to join the Land and Outdoor Academy at our Kirkley Hall campus. Our vision is to continue to develop the provision within our Equine area, increase student numbers, and continue to improve the quality of our learners’ experience.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, committed and passionate individual with a strong practical equine management background. The role entails responsibility for daily care of horses and at times supporting the Equine lecturing team in the preparation of teaching resources. The role will entail weekend work and the possibility of some evening work. The successful candidate should be committed to supporting students to work within the Equine industry to ensure that all students gain an outstanding experience.

The successful candidate will be qualified to BHS stage 2 (or equivalent) or above and ideally hold, or be prepared to work towards further qualifications. Car driver essential.
